If you can read a map and start a campfire you can camp in the Boundary Waters and Quetico Park. We will provide all the necessary equipment and food you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable wilderness experience. Our top-notch lightweight gear is sturdy and dependable and all of our trips are customized specifically for you. That means the right canoe to match your crew's abilities and travel interests. That means the best balance of weight and bulk in your equipment and camping amenities. That even means a food menu tailored to your personal tastes and travel plans. We offer a wide variety of options to enhance your enjoyment of your trip. At CBO the details do matter.
You can select one of our Explorer Outfitting Packages and give your crew the choice of two different trip options.
Base Camp Packages: This relaxing option would take you only a portage or two into the park to find that "one perfect campsite". No moving your camp every day... so you have more time to simply enjoy this unique wilderness. You can go exploring with a day-pack, camera, or fishing pole in hand. We have all the gear to make your northwoods base camp extra-comfortable, add $5 per person per day.
Explorer Packages: The vast majority of BWCA and Quetico trips feature a moderately-paced travel itinerary and a sampling of fun wilderness activities. Perhaps some sight-seeing, some exploring, some fishing, some "lay-over" camp days... a blend of all the best. Whatever your plans, we can tailor our ultralight canoe and gear options to match you and your group’s interests.

Family "Budgeteer" Pricing
To Make it affordable for you to build special memories with your kids, we have super rates for "youth". At CBO, the youth rate applies to all those under age 18. Youth under 8 free with 2 paid adults.
